ශ්‍රී ලංකාවට හැකි සෑම ආකාරයකින්ම අඛණ්ඩව සහාය දෙන බවට ඉන්දීය විදේශ කටයුතු අමාත්‍ය ආචාර්ය එස්.ජයිශංකර් (Dr. S. Jaishankar) සහතික වී තිබේ.
ඉන්දීය මහ කොමසාරිස් කාර්යාලය අද ට්විටර් පණිවුඩයක් නිකුත් කරමින් කියා සිටියේ ඉන්දීය විදේශ කටයුතු අමාත්‍යවරයා ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ මුදල් අමාත්‍ය බැසිල් රාජපක්ෂ සමඟ ඵලදායී සහ සුහද දුරකථන සංවාදයක නිරත වූ බවයි.
“India will continue to support Sri Lanka in all possible ways”
මේ වසර මුලදී දෙවරක් කල් දමා තිබුණ බැසිල් රාජපක්ෂගේ ඉන්දීය සංචාරය සඳහා මාර්තු දෙවන භාගයේදී අන්‍යෝන්‍ය වශයෙන් පහසු දිනයක් සඳහා දෙපාර්ශවයම එකඟ වූ බවද එහි වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් වේ. ඖෂධ සහ ආහාර ඇතුළු අත්‍යාවශ්‍ය ද්‍රව්‍ය මිලදී ගැනීම සඳහා ශ්‍රී ලංකාව ඉන්දියාවෙන් ඩොලර් බිලියනයක ණය මාර්ගයක් අපේක්ෂා කරන සන්දර්භය තුළ මෙම සංචාරය සිදු කිරිමට නියමිතයි.
Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar has assured that India will continue to support Sri Lanka in all possible ways.
The Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka said in a tweet today that the Indian External Affairs Minister had a productive and cordial telephone conversation with Sri Lanka’s Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa.
It added that both sides agreed to a mutually convenient date in the second half of March for Basil Rajapaksa’s visit to India. Minister Rajapaksa’s visit to India had been postponed twice early this year.
